I had the shrimp fried rice and it was light and fresh. My wife had the beef lo mein, it was very flavorful. This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area hands down!!
Wow, I had given up on Chinese restaurants but my faith is restored! Food is fresh and very flavorful. We got the beef lo mein and wonton soup and and egg roll with sweet and sour sauce. Will be back to try more!
Had this place for the first time, food was great...it's nice having a local Chinese restaurant that has good authentic food.
We were staying overnight in Manteno and tried them for takeout. Online ordering was a little clunky. But the quality and quantity of entrees and appetizers were excellent. Would HIGHLY recommend for price/portion ratio and was delicious;
Love this place. May be a long wait but people need to realize that it’s one lady and sometimes her husband. She is so sweet and their food is always the best. We will continue going as long as we are inKankakee county!
I've had food here a few times now while visiting my parents and the food is always good. Very small store with little seating but we always get takeout anyway so it doesn't matter. The food was very fresh and ready at the time they told us over the phone. One particular high point is that they actually do make General Tso chicken spicier is you ask for it. Still not too spicy but very good.
We have been here a few times and the food is really good. Tonight it really was the best ever. We had won ton soup, egg rolls, fried rice, chicken chop suey and beef with mushrooms. Every single thing was excellent. My order was accurate and ready when promised. We used to be fans of Rising Sun (all locations!) and this is just as good. When you go in for pick up, tables are closed off and used for more storage. Don't let it scare you off.
Excellent taste and traditional preparation of Chinese dishes. Recommend the dishes that we have had. Shrimp fried rice (shrimp cooked to perfection). Curry Chiken General Tso combo Singapore Mei Fun. This is the best I have had in 10 years. Few restaurants prepare this properly. Get's better every time.
